About me

Im a tattooer and painter currently living in Bellingham, WA since 2018. I grew up traveling and moving around the PNW but my early life began in Utsunomiya, Japan. I still feel the influence of that life in everything I do when I create art.

In my creative life I’ve expressed myself through printmaking, b/w photography, figure sculpting, poetry, watercolor, acrylic and mix media paintings.

Since I’ve started tattooing in 2015 my themes have evolved into narratives of the feminine body, mind and presence, Japanese motifs, floral, fauna, visual poetry and flash inspired by expressionist/abstract painters. I also love blending colors together to look painterly, romantic, meaningful or decorative work, contour lines, sketches, dreamy shapes etc.

As time goes on, tattooing has grown deeper in my heart, as it is such a sacred and ritualistic trade. I love the connections, conversations and people I meet through this work.

I underwent an apprenticeship in 2014 and have been working as an artist ever since. In December 2021, my long time colleague and friend Kamile Jordan and I opened up our own shop in the arts district of downtown Bellingham called With Love Tattoo. We wanted to create a space that reflected the love and care we feel both towards the craft and our clients.

So whether its my pre-made flash designs or a custom piece, I love to translate an idea, feeling or inspiration into a beautiful work of art. Looking forward to connecting with you.
